LATEST LUXE

'Luxe' is the latest buzz word in design.

Whether your project is small or large, residential or commercial, designers everywhere are trying to establish a high end opulent feel to their interiors.

This can be achieved in all aspects of an interior space. starting with a generous palette of colours, such as navy, ivy and burgundy, sumptuous wallpaper finishes, parquetry flooring, coffered ceilings, crown moldings, skirting boards, fireplaces, marble benchtops, brass fixtures and fittings, velvet soft furnishings, bespoke furniture, crystal chandeliers, pedestal lighting, sconces, floral arrangements, shelving filled with books and magazines, sculptures and artwork, and personal belongings such as photos and heirlooms.

The key to a successful luxe interior is knowing how to put all these pieces together whilst creating an environment that has a multitude of layers, is eclectic and has a harmonious balance. Luxe is really the antithesis of a pared back interior. Think the opposite of white walls, grey palette, black windows and door frames, basic minimalism. It is design opulence to the max.
